Conservation is our Mission

At Deeper Green, conservation and the promotion of biodiversity are the driving force behind everything we do.

Our team brings extensive, hands-on experience in the care and restoration of natural habitats including woodland, lowland heath, bog and mire ecosystems, wildflower meadows, riparian zones and natural flood defence systems. Whether enhancing existing landscapes or creating new ones, we apply a deep understanding of ecological processes to support thriving habitats, improve ecosystem resilience, and contribute to the broader health of the environment.

Projects we’ve collaborated on

Woodland Creation

We can have trees professionally planted with expert guidance, site preparation, species selection, planting, protection, and ongoing maintenance tailored to your land and objectives.

Planting Services

We can offer semi- mature planting services if you are thinking about having an instant visual impact. At Deeper Green, we can give you professional landscaping and planting services which we can create shelterbelts, and urban planting.

Maintenance

Our experienced qualified team is licensed to provide specialist herbicide treatments across the UK. All treatments follow current UK safety regulations, ensuring minimal risk to people, pets, and the surrounding environment. Our methods include knapsack spraying, selective leaf wiping, quadbike applications, and controlled droplet applicators for precise and effective weed control.

Hibernacular

We’ve had the pleasure of being apart of projects in which we were building hibernacula. Its great way to provide safe winter dormancy sites for many small mammals and amphibians, as well as encouraging biodiversity it can also connect between other habitats which can allow animals to move safely across the landscape.

Wildlife Pond

We can build ponds designed to attract and support local wildlife

Veteranisation

Tree veteranisation is the deliberate damaging or wounding of ‘younger’ trees to accelerate the development of microhabitats typical of large, old trees (veterans). Our team can help to advise and support you with tree veteranisation
